Amir Zare Beiranvand was born in Iran on May 1995. He received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Petroleum university of technology and his master’s degree in Control Engineering from Amirkabir university of technology in 2021. Since February 2025 he has been pursuing his Ph.D. at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering (DEI), Politecnico di Bari, Italy, as part of the MSCA BRIDGITISE project. His current research focuses on automated bridge inspection using unmanned aerial systems (UASs), with an emphasis on communication optimization, trajectory planning, and AI-based visual inspection.
