Privacy-Oriented Data Disssemination
The widespread adoption of IoT and IIoT ecosystems has made secure and privacy-conscious data management a critical priority. While these systems offer significant societal advantages through seamless connectivity and autonomous operations, they also raise serious concerns about the security and privacy of sensitive data. IIoT devices, often deployed in potentially insecure environments, are particularly vulnerable to risks such as data breaches and unauthorized access. To address these challenges, advanced cryptographic approaches, including Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) and Searchable Encryption (SE), play a vital role in safeguarding data against unauthorized users and protecting confidential information from curious cloud service providers.
Main activities
- Study of Privacy-preserving Techniques (i.e., Searchable Encryption)
- Design and evaluation of data dissemination at the network edge via Searchable Encryption (SE) techniques.
