Ilaria Cianci received the Master degree (with honors) in telecommunication engineering from Politecnico di Bari in December 2010 and the PhD degree in Information and Communication engineering from “Scuola Interpolitecnica di Dottorato” in February 2014. She obtained the award “Ethics and Information and Communication Technologies (or Computer Ethics)”, promoted by the Italian Association for Informatics and Automatic Calculation (AICA), for her PhD thesis. She was Post-doc researcher at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Politecnico di Bari, from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2023 she was a Network and Security specialist at InnovaPuglia S.p.A. She has been speaker at plenary session at Ignite ’19 Europe cybersecurity conference in Barcelona. Starting from 2023, she is a Researcher (RTD-A) in Telecommunication at Politecnico di Bari, Italy. She has different technical certifications (Palo Alto Networks Security Administration, Juniper Networks Certified Associate Junos, Cisco CCNA). She is also a certified Palo Alto Network Academy trainer.
